Update: Matt Garza tossed seven scoreless innings today in an 8-1 victory over Buffalo. He allowed five hits, walked two and struck out six improving to 2-2 with a 3.75 ERA.

They’re taking regular BP at 12:25. Let’s face it: They’ve got work to do. … Not much news in the clubhouse today. Joe Mauer is playing catch. He said he still feels something in his quad, but that it’s getting better each day. It’s still unknown whether he’ll be ready to come off the DL when he’s first eligible. Twins are 2-4 since he got hurt.
