The Twins need to get him ready for more of a utility role. Eventually he could end up as the regular 3B, since they really don't have anyone else. Lamb, Kubel, and Buscher are sort of redundant. DH types who really can't play in the field. One guy like that is enough. Zero is better. Gomez looks like an early cut. Span and Pridie should compete up until the end of spring training. Span finished strong last season in AAA. He appears to have the inside track. The Twins just can't seem to let go of Garrett Jones. Jones is a left-handed Michael Restovich, only less talented. The Twins could use at least one more strong gloveman for the middle of the infield to back up Punto and Everett. This team reminds me a little of some of the early to mid 1970's Twins teams. Those teams were just a bunch of junk thrown together. Guys with a lot of holes in their game.
