I think the day off Tuesday was a “head out of @$$” sorta break.

Though it may help Lamb if he needs to recover from his foot injury (boy, both backup 1B go down? That’d be rough)

Monroe scored twice, .400 OBP tonight.

Unfortunately, Everett looks like the grand old shortstop in his last year. He’s hitting .095 now.

And Punto still looked like Punto.

Baseball is the better sport to watch and probably to play. Hockey is probably the most difficult sport, IMO. Lots of frustration; lots of hard work with few rewards; lots of hits and clutching. When you are done with a game of hockey you know you’ve had a workout.

Here’s why I like hockey. Colorado currently has two plaeyrs on it’s team named Foot and Finger.

No special spellings, no special pronounciation. It’s Foot, and it’s Finger.
