The Twins have won three of their past four games, and tonight, they’ll get another crack at Washington, which comes in with the worst record in the National League, at 29-43.

Update (5:50 p.m.): A slow news day at the Metrodome. Nick Blackburn had a bullpen session and said his arm felt “too good.” He’s on track to make Saturday’s start against Arizona.
Nationals manager Manny Acta said his team’s All-Star selection should be Cristian Guzman, who has played all but two games and is batting .310.
