Trade Liriano for help, the Twins don’t think he’s good enough for their major league roster. Maybe Hawkins and Ian Kennedy.

what is the scoop with Swarzak’s call up in Rochester? He was not exactly lights out in New Britain…

Swarzak has had two consecutive very good starts (as has Humber). He’s been down there for a year and over that year, he’s been very good, with one slow period in May and June this year.

Colorado arent going to be sellers. Atkins isn’t going anywhere.

Colorado have been “hot” lately and are ONLY 6 games out in a VERY WEAK NL West.

Gomez is a green as grass kid with an unlimited upside. He’s still learning, and he’ll keep on learning. Let’s give him another full season in the majors before we through him under the bus.
Also, let’s not get too carried away with Denard Span as some sort of out outfield savior until we see how well he’s hitting come September.
