"ESPN wouldn’t know what to do." AGREED

I didn't read the entire game board-- but did you guys agree on who goes when Casilla comes back?

My guess is Ruiz. Buscher, Span and Gomez are the only other ones with options left. I would be surprised to see anyone but Ruiz out of that bunch go down--

Other option would be a waiver deal-- Lamb, Everett or Harris. Harris is probably the only one that would attract a claim-- because he is the best of the three. But they probably want to keep him as the right handed 3b option. Punto might get claimed on waivers-- might get a mediocre relief pitcher for him-- with Tolbert coming back soon, LNP is expendable. (I know 90% of the board would say that without Tolbert coming back!)

I also agree with posts that I read that Korecky, Barrett and anyone else is better than Bonser, Bass and Gurrier at this point. I would be suprised if anyone but Bonser would get claimed off waivers. I would replace Bonser and Bass with Barrett and Korecky immediately unless we can pull off a waiver deal for Harris or Punto for some one better. Gurreir needs to be put in mop roles only for now.

Punto is one of the top rated utility guys in MLB. If 3rd, SS, 2nd, and even outfield goes down he can play those positions. He is a top rated defensive player and a average to better than average offensive player, when compared to other utilty guys.

I definetly feel if the money is right they should resign him, especially when dealing with young players and you don't know if they are going to be successful.

If the Twins don't sign him, he will not have any problem finding another team as he will have multiple teams to pick from. IMHO.

So Chicago and Minnesota are tied atop the division, and both are 1/2 back of Boston eh?

Man. As much as I'd love to see the Whities out of the playoffs...wouldn't it be cool to have a postseason without either Boston or New York?

ESPN wouldn't know what to do.

It's quite evident that the Twins have alot of outfield and SP prospects in our system. We seem to be set in the outfield,1b.2b and catcher.I think BS could package excess talent at these positions in the off season,to address our needs on the left side and relief pitching
