Mr thrylos, Again, thanks. I am not trying to be difficult but , as I recall, it is quite a distance to the clubhouse from the dugout. Is there such a facility near the dugout. Does anyone know? Responses welcome. And again, thank you, Mr. thrylos.

take it from an eyewitness, there are several places in the Twins’ clubhouse where pitchers can use to keep loose after delays. The article reference was to make the point about Blackburn and the bicycle reference…

Mr thrylos, Again I thank you for your informative response. I read the article and it answered a part of my query. However, I didn’t read where either an exercise bike or other strategy was used by the Twins’ pitchers at the Metrodome to keep their pitchers loose.

the Twins have a facility to accommodate pitchers staying loose during long stretches of inactivity.

The only reason I did not answer that when asked previously was because I thought that I sensed a hint of sarcasm about Blackburn re: the bicycle (check this article from LEN3 http://www.startribune.com/sports/twins/16197872.html)
