Woke up this morning, got a cup of coffee and decided I had to read the blogs from last night’s game. Glad I did! Great humor and your summary brought it all home! I’m gonna go pour another cup, pet the dog, and go smell some flowers in the yard with visions of Punto dancing in my head. Go Twins!

1.) Won despite the ML WORST manager.
2.) Baker again proves he is a very good pitcher without run support, and quite pedestrian with run support.
3.) Winning RBI by a player who is a failed 1st round pick.
4.) Player who should be in AAA knocked in tying run, BUT still doesn’t give the team a chance to win.
5.) Horrors of Horrors, the most hated player on this blog, starts 2 rallies and scores BOTH runs. And NEVER gives the Twins a chance to win, in fact, a GUARANTEED loss. Sad but true.
6.) 3 players who should not be allowed in a ML stadium much less on the field go 6-14, the ML’ers on the team go 4-29.
7.) Based on #6 above, I am finally joining the “Gardy must GO!!!” fan revolt.

Very impressive win against a tough pitcher, too. I was happy to see Baker buckle down after the first inning. Great way to start off this long road trip.
