It would hurt the team's momentum and chemistry. The Twins really took off upward in the standings when Cuddyer was no longer in the lineup. Both Gomez and Span are contributing tremendously and Kubel is doing good as the DH. Putting Cuddyer back into the lineup would cost the Twins the division race.
