Small adjustments are what’s needed, not a major overhaul. I’m not convinced by Delmond Young or Carlos Gomez yet. We need to keep Cuddyer at least until the young outfielders establish themselves. We shouldn’t trade any of our young starters. Pitching is too important. Let’s get a young third baseman on the cheap or continue with the Buscher & Harris platoon. Perhaps upgrade shortstop and the bullpen will definitely need an upgrade.

here is my suggestion keep all players in tact - the only thing i would consider is add a top fa third baseman for two years until danny valinaco develops and we do not give up anybody.if we trade - letus trade for hardy and perhaps give up bonser, guierrer, swarzak cuddyyer, or if trade value perkins any combination here what do we get power ss, power 3rd baseman.worst case scenario we lose two or htree in a trade then sign hardy for a long term package. go twins

A raise for Guerrier? Are you kidding me? If he gets a raise, it better be with a different team. Unless they are looking to fill a mop up role, bringing him back will be a huge mistake.

The big question from Joe’s information has to be, will the Twins offer arbitration to Reyes? Do they want to take a chance on him accepting, to get the draft pick if he doesn’t?

Yes, we would offer him arbitration. The Twins offer would be lower than what Reyes would want. Also, Reyes numbers look good and he is a lefty so it is almost a given that he would get a 2-3 year deal if FA.
