The stats demonstrate he was in the middle of the curve for 3 months and pretty low for 3. Which is not the same thing as demonstrating he is a terrible player. My point is not that he is the second coming of Willie Mays (he isn't). My point (and I think Joe C's point) is that these are not unexpected stats for a 23 year-old in his first year with a new club.
