Tonight’s Twins game against the Red Sox has been postponed because of rain and will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on Wednesday.

Game 1 will start at 11:35 p.m. (Central), and Game 2 will start at 6:10 p.m.

The Twins’ pitching likely will stay the same, with Scott Baker pitching Game 1 and Francisco Liriano pitching Game 2.

I will have an extended updates on Jose Mijares and Jesse Crain for first editions.

Update: The Twins will indeed keep their pitching the same, with Baker in Game 1, and Liriano in Game 2.

Manager Ron Gardenhire indicated that with the weather forecast dicey for Wednesday night, they picked a day-night doubleheader to give them the best chance of getting at least one game in, leaving Thursday for any additional makeups.
