Friday lineups: Twins/Yankees

NEW YORK — I took a tour of the new Yankee Stadium this afternoon, and all I can say is, wow. They thought of everything.
There are 1,100 high-definition TVs, counting the ones in the bathrooms. There’s an art gallery, and several places to grab a martini.
The structure is similar, so you’ll catch yourself for a moment, thinking you’re at the old stadium. But everything around you is so plush.
Anyway, I’ll have more on that later in the series.
As La Velle reported last night, the Twins did indeed place Delmon Young on the Family Emergency Medical List, to be with his ailing mother. Our thoughts go out to the Young family.
Catcher Jose Morales has been promoted from Class AAA Rochester to fill the roster spot. Under MLB rules, Young must be off the roster for at least three days and no more than seven.
Catcher Allan De San Miguel was promoted from Class A Fort Myers to Rochester, taking Morales’ place, and catcher Danny Rams moved from extended spring camp to Class A Fort Myers. Wilson Ramos is on the DL for Class AA New Britain with a finger injury.
I’ll get the lineups as soon as they’re posted.
