I think he was the town drunk on the Andy Griffith show but I don't want to start another Andy Griffith blog so I looked up Eddie Shore. I nearly forgot about the Boston Bruin Hockey legend. This is funny: "At home matches the other Bruins would take the ice first before bringing Shore out last to the accompaniment of ''Hail to the Chief.'' Shore would skate onto the ice in a matador's cloak, which would then be removed, Gorgeous George-style, by a valet." I tried the link, Eddie, and all it said was “Otis”.
