Wow, LT1 in a '36 Chevy sounds fun.

I'm looking to finish the interior of my 215-v8-in-a-TR6 project. Engine and trans are in, exhaust hooked up in a prior blog post.... Should be a great car once the interior's done.

A second project is to transform a '71 MG Midget into a vintage race car on a very slim budget. We're looking to put in fuel cell, roll bar, 5-point harness, racing brake pads and perhaps a few other goodies, like stickier tires, and then hit the course in the spring. We won't be fast at all with the stock motor, but it should be a hoot if we can get our schedules coordinated to get it all dialed in by early '09.

To Kris and others that read on this blog, I have a question: What are your fall/winter garage or other car projects planned?

For me: I'm finishing with putting in the front suspension in the 1936 Chev Town Sedan. Then I'll be mounting the motor (that just sounds a little strange saying it that way...). It is a 94 LT1 going in the same 36. Then I'll be taking the interior and glass out to prepare to lift the body off of the frame. We'll see how much I can get done.

I'm interested in what others have planned.
