That fella looks a heck of a lot like an Aston Martin to me, which I think is an excellent way to modify a vette body. Seriously, just put a pilot wings shaped hood ornament on top of the front air scoop and you have an all-American exotic!

CJ--Jerome is talking about the Pontiac Tempest discussed immediately below this post (the blog post, rather than the comments). I have the eBay link in the post and as of this moment, it still brings up the car, auction closed, and all the people's comments as they narrowed down what it was.

Thanks for your kind words, JB. I'll fire up the mouse-wheel and turn out some food for thought.

Best, Kris

Hi Chris,

First - Thoughts about the auto industry possibly merging? It makes me wonder what a combined product would look like coming from For-ysl-let (Ford, Chrysler, Chevrolet).

Next - We need more blogs coming from you! At least when reading or talking about the information posted here it is a diversion from the other news of Recounts, economy, job loss - it is a mental escape... so please provide more topics, thoughts, insights, projects, etc.

Lastly - I really liked the last two blog topics about the re-vette and the unknown Pontiac. It was great to discuss this around the water cooler and other car gang.
