Yeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
Gymkhanas are a blast no matter how fast they are.
I have a restored 1929 Ford Model A and have gone to a couple of national Model A meets. At these meets they generally have a gymkhana for anyone to enter. These are all generally timed events but obviously using a Model A, the times are significantly slower than the one seen in the video.
At one in particular my son and I were participating in there was a see saw (teeter totter) where we were timed to roll up on this platform and get our Model A to balance. My son and I leaned way back at one point to pull the front end up to balance the car.
Great Video!! Thanks Kris
Hilarious! Did anyone shoot a snap of you and your son in the car, leaning back actors-on-a-cliff style trying to get the car’s nose up? I’d love to post that here.
What a great idea for a car event. Kris
Yes, My wife got a shot of it. How do I send it to you?
Here it is in photobucket if you can get to it…

Send it to my weekend garage email address, which is weekendgarage (one word) followed by @ followed by comcast.net with no spaces. Usual email address format.
Sadly, I have to write it like that because published properly, it gets picked up by spam “bots” — programs combing the internet for email addresses.
Thanks Jerome. Look forward to seeing it! Kris
I think Jim Rockford (Rockford Files) has finally met his match.
Awesome video.
That might be a great subject for a Not-So Locals in Motion.
