Above Average Fun Below Zero

This weekend’s forecast is looking frigid. Excellent snuggle up and watch videos weather. Cabin fever driving you crazy and need to venture out?

Here are just a few fun family things to do this weekend that don’t require your nostrils to freeze shut. Or some additional ones I came across.

Free First Saturday at the Walker.
Como Conservatory

As May recommends below: the Habitot play area at the Children’s Museum is great for the little ones. Or the MIA on Sunday for the acoustic concert at 11 am.

We are going to visit the indoor attractions at the Minnesota Zoo -Tropics Trail & Discovery Bay as I just was fortunate to check out a Museum Adventure Pass for the zoo at the library this week. (score!) According to the web site the mono-rail and Northern trail will be closed due to weather. The animals would definately be freezing their tails off this weekend.

What are your plans for some non-frigid fun this weekend?
