Formula for Romance

Oh, that Cupid. He’s usually portrayed as a chubby, winged baby flinging his arrows of love at unsuspecting couples.
But when a real chubby baby enters your life - Cupid’s arrow tends to fly right over your sleep-deprived heads as you bend over to sweep up the ground-in Cheerio’s off of the floor.
There are many nights when nothing is more seductive than your pillow and a good night’s sleep. So, how do you keep love on target with babies in the mix?Â
This was the question posed by loyal Cribsheet reader, Kim.Â
She writes…
As parents, how do you celebrate Valentine’s Day when you have little ones around? It seems now that I am a parent, romance must be scheduled weeks in advance, and still then often gets forgotten amid dirty diapers and Dora The Explorer. I’d love to hear other parents advice for keeping the romance alive once the kids arrive, and Valentine’s Day seems like a good time to ask!
So how about it Cribsheeters? What are you doing for Valentine’s Day? And as busy parents how do you keep that old romance flame from getting doused out by a sippy cup?
