Heartburn. I never had it until I was pregnant - felt like carbonated lava bubbling up in my esophagus. Not fun.

My theory was: having heartburn during pregnancy is nature’s way of making sure you get enough calcium…’cause I had the mondo size Tums within reach at all times.

Now there was a blurb in the NYT that who have heartburn during pregnancy are more likely to have babies with full heads of hair.

Hmmmm…guess my little chrome dome was an exception. At least I never resorted to buying him one of these.
