Our TV time has definately dwindled since having our son. But when it is on, I’ve seen a ton of hype for the new ABC pregnancy/parenthood sitcom “Notes from the Underbelly.” The previews have made me laugh and I am curious to see it. This show is definately aimed at the new parent demographic set. I recognize the squeaky voiced woman from the Glad commercials as a perky preggo. Oh, and blonde bespectacled Rachel Harris (who usually is seen making sarcastic remarks about Boy George or Gary Coleman on VH1’s “I Love the 80’s”) Now making sarcastic remarks about breastfeeding and baby clothes. But do gags from a 30 second commercial a 30 minute sitcom make?  Folks at babble.com don’t seem to think so. Decide for yourself and report back if you are so inclined. It premieres this evening right after Grey’s Anatomy at 9 pm.
