We can hardly believe it ourselves, but Cribsheet is in the final running for a regional Emmy!

Wait, you say, Cribsheet’s not a TV show. Well, it turns out there are several new online categories for the Emmys this year. In fact Star Tribune/startribune.com was nominated for seven total! The category we are nominated for is Online Personality. Or Personalities, as the case may be. (If we win, we’ll be Emmy Mommies…)

Kay and I are already wondering what to wear (does Armani do maternity?) for the awards gala at the Graves Hotel October 20. And, no, Ryan Seacrest is not hosting. My husband asks if I’m going to start hanging out with Gwyneth and dating George Clooney (well, yes, but first I’ve got to find out who the George Clooney of the Upper Midwest is, for that is our regional Emmy chapter…)

We know, of course, that a blog is not just about the bloggers, but the community that coalesces around it….so we’re busy working all of you into the acceptance speech we’ll have tucked in our nursing bra straps…..Stay tuned, Cribsheeters!
