Congrats to our fellow Emmy nominee, WCCO’s Jason DeRusha, and his wife Alyssa who welcomed baby boy Sam yesterday, just hours after a party-packed Saturday evening. According to Jason’s DeBlog, big brother Seth was at the hospital waving and blowing kisses at the new baby.

Well, Jason did say that if Cribsheet beat him for the regional Emmy for Online Personality this year, he’d have to do more baby blogging to win next year…Quick work, Jason ;)!

Meanwhile, Kay and I were ogling the dresses at the Real (i.e. the Primetime) Emmys Sunday night. Kay favors the dusky pink drapy number worn by Kate Walsh and I think I’d go for the midnight blue halterneck gown on Rashida Jones. Drat….where are those personal trainers?? They should have been here weeks ago..
