Well, our Emmy-nominated blog retains the title of Emmy-nominated blog. Congratulations to Jason Derusha and his dynamic DeBlog for winning the Upper Midwest Regional Emmy for Online Personality. Also a big congratulations to Sheletta who won an Emmy for Online Personality -independent -  for her blog. She guest blogged on Cribsheet last February and we couldn’t be more proud! Our talented Star Tribune colleagues came home with 4 Emmy’s total, the first year that online has been eligible in the Advanced Media category. We’re certain there will be more statues to come for the Strib in the future as the definition of broadcast media has been extended to online.

May & I were thrilled just to spend a much-needed date night out with our husbands - and the fact that the date night happened to be at the swanky Graves 601 Hotel didn’t hurt either!
