For a couple of weeks now, the very pregnant Kay has been leaving me voice-mail messages that start with “Hi May, I’m heading to Methodist Hospital….” only to follow up with “Hah! Got you!”

Well, the boy who cried wolf has really had a baby! (Yes, that makes sense and I’m sticking with it!) 

Ladies and gentlemen, Kay Krhin, reporting from Methodist Hospital this morning, via my voice mail:

“Vivian Louise was born at 5:41 am at 8 pounds 2 ounces, 21 inches long. She’s beautiful, perfect, of course. She came out with a lusty cry. And yes, my water did break a la Miranda, just like on TV. I’m gone for now, more details later…”
