Deflate in ‘08

Hey - here’s a novel idea. My New Years resolution is to be healthy & fit. I’ve pretty much been perpetually pregnant or nursing since 2005 and am ready to deflate.
I know the fitness resolution is so cliche but this year is double duty for me. I am post-baby and will turn the big “four oh” this summer. There is just something about birthdays with a zero in them that put extra pressure on. I want to enter this next decade with a head start. Forty & Fabby not Forty & Flabby (that’s the goal at least).
I know there’s no huge secret to it: Eat less, exercise more. I just got the green light at my 6 week appointment from my doc to resume exercise. I am just struggling with time management to get it done. Life balance (see post below). Exercise is yet another ball to add to the juggling act. But it’s important to be a happy and healthy for the kids, your spouse, and yourself too.Â
Sticking close to home is my best option right now. So I call on you for advice, does anyone have any exercise dvd’s to recommend? As long as I’m asking - Do you have any post-baby health/fitness goals that you strived for? Work out x amount of times a week? Fit in your “skinny” pants? Cutting out processed foods? Training for an event?  Cardio classes?
What worked for you?
