Back from Malaysia

We’re bleary-eyed and barely able to stand up today but we made it. We survived another big trip to Malaysia to see my family with two babies in tow.
Three weeks is too much to cram into one post - and my brain is still somewhere over the Pacific - so I’ll dribble out the details in the next few days.
For now, I’ll just say it was wonderful to be there in 90-degree weather with the sun shining everyday and family and friends showering our little ones with love. And hard to leave, as always.
Zoe, 4, and Maya, 2, enjoyed their first full-scale Chinese New Year, all kitted out in their lucky red outfits bought by a proud grandmother. The girls ate 500 bowls of wonton noodles. Each. Zoe played mini-golf with her grandfather. And we caught up on a year’s worth of life happenings on the other side of the world.
More Noodles, Please

Welcome back, May. You guys are intrepid travelers but the rewards of home, family and friends sound more than worth it. Tell me, is it just a film festival from take of to touch down?
Beauty and the Beast about five times in a row. Some Spongebob. Bee Movie once or twice. Thank God for inflight movies on demand.
Welcome Home May! Looking forward to hearing about your trip!
I always dread our twice-yearly treks to Pennsylvania…but I’ll stop complaining! You are amazing to take this trip on on a yearly basis. Congrats on surviving, and welcome back!
Welcome home, May and family! We were at a waterpark in the Wisconsin Dells last week and thought of you . . . !
