Sesame Place

In last Sunday’s Travel section business reporter, Kara McGuire of Ka-ching and Ka-blog fame -  told us how to get, how to get to Sesame Street (actually Sesame Place). It’s in Pennsylvania - who knew? She grew up with Sesame Street as well - and says this theme park is just as nostalgic for the adults as it is fun for the kids.

Read her story here.

On a sort of related - kids themed vacation note:  Pre-kid, I scoffed at the seemingly cookie cutter all-inclusives “Sandals”  for honeymooners and “Beaches” for families. But now, I admit to being intrigued by the “Beaches”commercials that are often played after Sesame Street. Large muppets skipping hand in hand with your children while you kick back and enjoy the sun, surf, sand and perhaps an umbrella drink.  What more could one ask?  I’ve also heard good things about Disney’s Big Red Boat cruise.

Has anyone experienced any of these or similar kid-themed vacations?  Report back to us!
