Sixteen babies in 17 hours - that’s how many new souls wiggled, squeezed, pushed or were pulled kicking and screaming into the world Tuesday in one St. Paul hospital.

My first thought: Boy, am I glad I wasn’t one of those mothers at the very busy Regions Hospital. Nurses ran all day.

“It was wild,” said one nurse. “At some point, you got to start laughing because if you didn’t, you’d start crying.”

Here’s the story - a lovely, feel-good read which interestingly, elicited a string of pretty nasty comments. Skip them if you don’t feel like ruining your day. Go straight to the video.
