Good things come to those who 8

Maybe I’m just a calendar geek. But I absolutely love bizarre number stuff like this story about the baby born in Fergus Falls today on 08-08-08 weighing in at 8 lbs 8 oz at what time? 8:08 am (!!)
Read more about baby Hailey here.
I recall that one of Fergie’s (as in Duchess of York not Black Eyed Peas) girls was born today twenty years ago - why? Because I thought it was beyond cool that her birthday was 08-08-88.
I love that my husband turned 40 on 04-04-04 and 44 on 04/04/08. Our friends son, Joe, shares his birthday. He turned 4 on 04/04/04 and 8 on 04/04/08 it just all adds up.
I love that Vivian was born on 11-07-07 just cause it’s lyrical.
Perhaps it stems from my brother, sister and I all being born on the 21st of the month. What are the odds? But - oy, the pressure to continue the lucky 21 number tradition when we all started having kids. They all forged ahead and made their own new individual lucky numbers.

8/9/08 addition to this post: A few related 08-08-08 notes - Just saw that a man got his 8th hole in one on the 8th hole with Titelist ball numbered….drumroll please….8 ( yet another aside that reminded me - my dad got a hole in one on 11-01 on hole # 11)
AND on a horsey related note: I wasn’t able to join co-workers for a milestone birthday party at Canterbury last night - but sent along a card with $8 and instructions for the birthday girl to bet the money on horse #8 in the 8th race. (not an original idea - I’m sure everyone else at the track last night did the same thing.) Checked the Sports page this morning. Who won the 8th race? You got it. Horse #8. whoo hoo!
Happy Birthday Carol!
Anyone have any more nifty numeralogical birthdates out there? Perhaps a parent or grandparent born on January 2, 1934? A lucky 07/07/07 baby named Evan?
