Oh boy, I take that back. Now I'm going to be watching Sarah Palin. No matter what you think of her and her experience, she's certainly injected a big dose of excitement into the McCain campaign.

Mom101 - I know! I'm using up my TV quota for the next four years. Somehow I suspect I will not be writing a post titled "Glued to the RNC" this w/e... But what do I matter. As a non-citizen, I can't vote anyway.

Thanks May! I will say, between the Olympics on Beijing time and the convention on Denver time, I'm dying of sleep deprivation here in New York. I wish we could have all these consecutive weeks of drama, oh, at say 6:30, 7:30 central?

We're watching, too - the whole family! It was good for my 7-year-old, an ardent Hillary supporter, to watch
Clinton's glowing speech supporting Obama. Now she's ready to move on.

And when did Chelsea become such a lovely young woman? She was damn poised addressing that big crowd. I told my daughter, "You know, one day that could be you up there in politics."

She gave me a shy smile, but I could see the wheels are turning.
