Sid the Science Kid

A day to do things I can’t normally do on a normal Monday morning.
Sleep in. Well, sort of. Is 7 am truly sleeping in? I’ll take it.
And watch some good old PBS kids morning shows with my kids.
Martha Speaks? Not so interested.
Sid the Science Kid. Most excellent. Ben was captivated, excited, and turned to me and said - “I want to do that!” when Sid and friends looked at bugs under a magnifying glass.
Here was Neal Justin’s article that I read after I saw the show. I didn’t realize they were using such innovative animation.
You can read the article here.
Anyone else catch the morning marathon of shows? What did you do for Labor Day?

We DID catch some of this too! Our almost 3 year old LOVED it and later in the day she was asking about watching it again and I asked her “Sid the Science Guy?” (thinking Bill Nye the Science Guy or whoever he was back in MY day) and she was quick to correct me - SCIENCE KID - KID MOM KID. She LOVED him and I did too!
We didn’t catch this show, but did catch some other tv we wouldn’t normally see. As for the whole weekend, low key, lots of family, and catching up around the house. It’s time to sort out the fall clothes and make sure both boys have jeans that fit!
