We wanted to alert our Cribsheet readers to this event happening next Tuesday. I am so all over the 80’s trivia contest. Peter and the kids and I plan on being there. We’re turning Vivi’s well-baby checkup in to a lonnnnng lunch that day. (shhh don’t tell work).

Now, last year there was discussion about the event here with concern that it was an event exclusively for moms. I alerted their PR rep to the comments and she emphasized that Babytalk magazine loves dads and they are more than welcome to come on out on Tuesday. (They will not get the stinkeye! Promise).

why do I get the sinking suspicion that there will be more people at this than voting in the primary that day? 
Kay - Thanks for the head’s up. I was supposed to meet a colleague at the Mall for lunch that day. Now I know to pick another spot!
my friend and i brought our kids to the event last year and we were disappointed. we showed up, got some freebies, let our two kids play and then we left. this year’s event sounds a little more interesting with the new vendors so i might considering going since my daughter is older. she might have fun, who knows? last year’s turnout wasn’t as big as we thought it would be either.
