Kids in the Kitchen - a Strib story on cooking school for kids at the arboretum and tips for managing little chefs in your own kitchen…

“After Blogger’s Plane Crash, virtual becomes personal” - a NYT story on an Arizona mom who writes the Nienie Dialogues and how blog devotees were galvanized to help after she and her family were badly injured in a plane crash. Many similar dynamics to Matt Logelin….

And of course, continuing our fascination with Sarah Palin….

Tobi sent along this blog post by a local mom “Does Being the Mother of a Special Needs Child Make you a Hero?”

And the Brazen Careerist finally weighs in - “Palin’s Children Should Take Priority over being Vice President” (which echoed the comment Sherry made on John Edwards and his decision to run for prez despite the return of his wife’s cancer - See, Sherry? You and the BC do have something in common after all!) and “I hope to get to travel on Sarah Palin’s Plane” where the BC wonders how Palin is going to balance baby and travel.

Happy weekend, Cribsheeters. We are off to delightful Duluth for my husband’s inline skating marathon. It’s his fourth year competing! And the first where he’s wearing a shiny, skintight suit, the kind that makes you look like a can of Pepsi. Calm down, ladies.
