Last Minute Halloween Plans?

Tomorrow my kids are going with their daycare group to a nursing home to Trick-or Treat in the afternoon. That should be very sweet. Our provider says the people at the home always look forward to it.
Then we’re just going to Trick or Treat at a handful of neighbors houses on the block when we get back. So many houses are dark and shut down - it just seems like many aren’t participating.
I know there is an event at the Mall of America and many churches have a Trunk -or -Treat in their parking lots.
If you are still looking for something to do StarTribune.com has a great interactive map for Halloween. You can choose what area of the metro you’re in and find an activity near you.

Thanks for all of the great fall photos- We’ll post more soon.

OK - now I need to get myself to the store today to buy some treats before the shelves are bare. I’ve learned my lesson - if you wait too long the pickings become slim and all that are left are those black and orange peanut butter taffy things. (which I rather like…myself but Trick or Treaters don’t fancy much.)
Are you doing the neighborhood rounds or going to an event?
Does anyone have suggestions on places to go for family-friendly Halloween?
