The streets are plowed - the snow has stopped falling (for now) - need a new place to combat cabin fever get out of the house? Molly Hermann has a suggestion for tonight…
Have you been to the Midtown Global Market yet? To be honest, I did not know just how fun it is for families until I started renting a kitchen there for my catering business. My 3 year old always wants to go to ‘Mommy’s Kitchen’ now that there is so much to see and do! There is always music or special performances of some kind going on, and the food choices can please even the most disparate of family diners (think everything from pizza to ceviche).
Friday nights are Family Night, where they have special music for the kids complete with dance floor. And watching kids dance is entertainment in itself. This Friday, however, something really cool is happening. Midtown Global Market is having a Pep Rally to kick off the re-modeling of their Kid’s Play Area. Did I forget to mention the play area? Free Play Area. Perfect for getting out the energy during these indoor months. And it’s about to get a shiny new make-over with your kids’ help!
Come to Midtown Global Market on Friday, February 27th from 5-7pm to kick-off the remodeling for the GLOBAL KIDZ ZONE! Your children can be involved in decorating the space! Schedule of Events: 5:00pm-7:00pm: Radio Disney Road Crew will be onsite with Music, Games and Prizes for EVERYONE! 6:00pm: Check Presentation to Midtown Global Market from “You Gotta Have Heart” Auction and Fundraiser held earlier this month. 6:10pm: Guest Speakers TBD 6:20pm: Kids’ Parade to the new Midtown Global Market Kidz Zone led by Radio Disney 6:30pm: Kids’ hand-print painting on the Global Kidz Zone pillars!
And after you’ve had fun, come back again. This place really is great for the whole family. Visit Midtown Global Market for more information and directions.
