Pounding Pavement

I’ve always wanted to know how to get to Sesame Street.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I always have aspired to be involved in that show in some aspect. (But I don’t think they’re currently hiring.)
You may have heard, Sesame Street Workshop is feeling the economy and is starting to do layoffs.
Peter Hartlaub at the SF Gate’s parenting blog the Poop poses this question. Which character would you lay off of Sesame Street?
(my vote is for Mr. Noodle AND his brother Mr. Noodle -a package deal - and once again letting my mime prejudice show)
So Cribsheeters what furry, feathered friend would you vote off “the Street?”

This Abby Kadabby critter. She’s ditzy and annoying.
And as for the Brothers Noodle . . . unfortunately, Mr. Noodle’s brother, Mr. Noodle (played by Tony Award-winning Michael Jeter), died several years ago, so to the extent he’s still on, it’s just reruns.

oh whoops - I did not know that.
Now that I just googled him. I see that he was the bad guy in “Air Bud”
I never was sure if that was Mr. Noodle, or his brother, Mr. Noodle - now I know.
AND he was in the Green Mile too.
I vote for that bear - is it Baby Bear? Much too whiny for me to watch for longer than about a minute!
I would get rid of baby bear and Mr. Noodle…the Noodle brothers ALWAYS drove me crazy…and of course my son loved them!
Yeah, my two year old would be very sad if Mr. Noodle or worm got the ax. She just loves that darn worm. I knew Michael Jeter passed, so you get a lot more Bill Irwin these days, but there is a sister sometimes. Played by somebody Chenoweth?
I didn’t watch Sesame St. when I was growing up (I know what’s wrong with me), but I’ve picked up some old Sesame Street DVDs for cheap for my kids. So I often wonder what happened to the live actors? Where is Bob? or Gordon’s wife nowadays?
My two cents I’d get rid of Zoey and Baby Bear (for that matter the entire Bear family)
