For all of you golden oldies out there who are still buying CDs, the musical ones, the Electric Fetus is discounting almost the entire store 20 percent through Sunday, Nov. 2. Smoking accessories are not discounted, but all  new and used music and gifts get the extra discount. The stores are in Minneapolis, St. Cloud and Duluth. If you haven’t been to the Fetus before, it’s got a wonderful, electic selection in a large store with creaky wood floors. It’s a gem.

The Electric Fetus (2000 4th Av. S., Minneapolis, 612-870-9300) will have its 2nd annual garage sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The sale includes about 6,000 used CDs for $1 to $3, about 2,000 LPs for $1 or less, 2000 45s for a qurter or less and a few hundred DVDs. Gifts, accessories and clothing will be 50 to 75 percent off.

The sale is really held in a garage in back of the store, although some of it will spill into the parking  lot.
