Get Suze Orman’s new book FREE

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

Say what you want about Suze Orman–she’s a shameless promoter. Her fatuous personality either comes across as scolding or fawning. She forgets to rotate in the spray tan booth. But she is one of the few personal finance gurus who actually try to help you save money. Last year she teamed up with TD Ameritrade to give everyone $75 who set up a savings account with $50 automatic deposits and kept at it for 12 months. This year, she teamed up with Oprah to offer her new book “Suze Orman’s 2009 Action Plan: Keeping Your Money Safe & Sound” FREE as a printable download at www.oprah.com/download. The offer ends Thursday, Jan. 15. The book retails for $10 in stores.

Suze’s action plans include credit cards, retirement, saving, spending, real estate and paying for college. Most of those topics seem like a rehash of her previous books, but I’ve downloaded it to see if she’s changed her advice based on our current economy. Warts and all, I love ya, Suz.
