I just received this text message from Robbinsdale Cooper forward Rodney Williams’ mother: “The deal is done. He is a Gopher.”

Williams visited Santa Clara over the weekend and was expected to make a decision when he returned today or Monday. Williams becomes the third member of Tubby Smith’s second recruiting class, which includes California point guard Justin Cobbs and Hopkins forward Royce White.
