U men’s puck: Gophers third at turnstile

The Gophers, despite a second consecutive off year for them — a seventh and a fifth in the WCHA — finished third in the nation in attendance. The U averaged 10,027.7 fans per game. Only Wisconsin (Kohl Center) and North Dakota (Ralph) drew more per game and both have bigger arenas.

Nebraska-Omaha, the college the WCHA wants to learn into its den, was sixth in attendance. The results:
