Got a fav seed site? Going to a killer plant sale? Attending a cool conference?

The growing season is short, so drop me a line: jchismar@startribune.com.

I’d love to know upcoming events in your gardening community and share your gardening resources others.

Howdy Jaime,I wanted to let you know there’s a new resource in town for wannabe gardeners with no yard who find themselves in search of a spot of land.

A new effort called GardenWorks is working to make it easier for people to find their local community garden and to serve as a resource for the garden itself (and existing gardeners). It should prove to be a useful resource for community gardens I think.

If you’re curious to know more, you can get an introduction at: http://www.greeninstitute.org/gardenworks/

Best of luck with the sprouting.
Jon
