Cars huddle under the skyways. Commuters huddle in bus shelters.
Why, oh, why did I bike to work today?

My heart goes out Minneapolis residents and their gardens. Downed trees, damaged plants, my Saturday morning yoga class was buzzing with stories of storm casualities. (Poor Lake of the Isles! It looked like the set of Godzilla vs. Monster Zero.)
Did your garden survive the storm?
A little late to this post, but here’s a video of the hailstorm:

Yes, I had a lot of damage, lost a few tomatoes, and lots of lettuce, spinach and China Choy. ALso, carrots, beans, chard, strawberries blah blah…..yeah it sucked.
Some things are recovering, but I’m thinking of doing some replanting. It’s not gonna be quite the harvest I thought this year. Sigh.
