Fireworks weren’t the only flash of color on the Fourth of July. The yard and garden exploded with bright pink blossoms.

Cosmos, coneflower, bee balm and milkweed — I was so tickled… um… pink, that I forgot all about my bummer beets and my SECOND crop of bolted spinach.
