In other news: This graphic from the BBC
scares the pants off me. I’d feel more comfortable
if Dr. Azalea was wearing gardening gloves.

Got a crabby crab apple? A fizzled fire bush? A moody maple? Don’t dispair, get a diagnosis!

This Saturday, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is hosting a unique opportunity to meet with real plant doctors (plant pathologists) and learn the best strategies for keeping your garden healthy. There’s also an education fair where you can see examples of common diseases of trees, flowers, fruits, vegetables and other garden plants. These plant professionals love a challenge, so bring in samples and/or snapshots of your sick plants. You can find more info on the arboretum’s website: www.arboretum.umn.edu/meettheplantdoctor.aspx.

PS: Thanks to GG reader Karin for the tip!
