So, “Slumdog” won in every category it was nominated for - except sound editing. I”m sure they’ll get over it. I’m pleased, in part because my family is from India, and also because it’s nice to see a “feel good” movie get the Big Prize. It’s as close to a comedy as Oscar comes to. But did it deserve 9 Oscars? Hmmm….Time will tell.

Overall, a fairly tedious show, although I ended up liking the “gang” approach to the acting awards. What did you think?
