Jack Rice, who was dropped from the WCCO radio lineup, is joining the family at AM950. The former CIA agent and top-notch broadcaster started on Monday and will continue with the 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. slot.

Not the most glamourous slot, to be sure, but AM950 mostly concentrates on nationally syndicated stars like Stephanie Miller and Ed Schultz and I’m sure having the daytime hours available allows Jack to pursue other interests. Hopefully, it’s a win-win all the way around.
