Where’s George?

So I was standing at the vending machine today, deciding that a 3pm lunch of animal crackers was indeed the healthiest option, when I noticed a message on my dollar bill.

“See Where I’ve Been?” the bill beckoned.

My instant reaction was yuck. Dirty wallets, bus tills, sweaty pockets at the state fair. No desire to know where this bill has been. And I’m definitely going to wash my hands before I eat my carb rhinos and bears.

I love that site but I rarely get a bill that’s been anywhere but my wallet =(

So, if I read this correctly, someone took the time to stamp your bill with “Where’s George” and the relevant info, but did not followup and enter the info? That seems odd, to me.

We have come across a couple bills in the past month and have sent them on to nephews in NY, NY. On the bills we have sent there a been a few entries about where the bills had been. The boys, ages 7 and 10, get a kick out of it. It is a bit of a geography lesson as well..
