This just in from the National Society of Accountants:

Minnesota taxpayers can expect to pay $208 for a professional to prepare an itemized Form 1040 with Schedule A and a state tax return.

Does that sound about right? My taxes cost the price of TurboTax Deluxe plus cookies and a paper cut.
