Have a question for Warren Buffett?

If you do, a new web site may be your ticket to an answer.

ZotFish.com is a web site that allows you to offer up questions you have for celebrities. Then fellow readers vote on the best questions. The celebrity with the most questions and highest ranked questions will be asked to answer first.

Warren Buffett certainly doesn’t have to acknowledge your question, but for a guy who’s nice enough to donate much of his fortune, he might just take the time to send an e-mail. I’m skeptical that many video responses will be coming in, but hey, the experiment is young.

Here’s the philosophy behind the site:

ZotFish gives the general public a single voice far stronger than it’s ever had before. A voice that isn’t filtered by the media or any of the “powers that be.” A voice that is able to communicate with important public figures, one-on-one, in real dialog.

This site was inspired by the belief that, through honest, direct communication, the world can be made a better place.

Neat idea. You can post a question for about 400 politicians, actors, and athletes — even bloggers. If you have a burning question for so and so and don’t see that person on the list, you can suggest that their name is added to the site.

And if you’re curious about the name zotfish:

The zotfish is a rare aquatic vertebrate that lives in the most remote reaches of the Amazon river. Looking somewhat like a cross between a dolphin and an anglerfish, it has never been seen by the human eye. However, legend has it that if you dive deep into the river and shout a question underwater, the zotfish will reply in your dreams with an answer, as you slumber that night.
